The end of summer is always bittersweet for me. I love the bright colors, floral prints, sundresses, and sandals I get to wear during the season, but sometimes I look forward to being able to wear jeans, long sleeves, and layers again without sweating like crazy. Specifically, I'm looking forward to wearing jackets and blazers. I'm a huge sucker for jackets! They instantly make an outfit look put-together, they help hide a tummy (if your stomach is a problem area like mine), and they keep you warm in a cold building. If I didn't have to wear a white coat almost every day (white coats and jackets look horrendous together), I'd probably have a huge collection of jackets. As soon as it cools down, I plan on wearing this tan colored jacket I got from Target with this Ann Taylor blue shell, a mixed metal chain necklace, and black ballet flats. I'll carry my Chanel Classic Flap bag to complete the look. This outfit is put-together but not so over-the-top that it can't be worn in a small town. ***P.S. I am aware that fall doesn't start until September 22nd, but for me, summer always feels over once school starts*** Happy Monday!
