Happy Friday and Happy Memorial Day Weekend! Do any of you have any fun plans? My plans include work, work, and more work. I even work on Memorial Day. Bummer! The good news I get a week off starting Tuesday morning and I am going home to see family and friends (and to celebrate my birthday, but I'm not really looking forward to turning another year older). I hope to maybe even do some shopping and possible bring home some new clothes! The hardest thing about this Spring is, I haven't found many Spring clothes I like, and even if I had, it's been so darn cold that I wouldn't have been able to wear what I bought anyway. Last night it was 37 degrees out, and although it's sunny out today, it's definitely a jeans jacket/spring jacket + closed toe shoes kind of day. Check out the outfit I would be wearing (if I wasn't going to sleep...I work overnights so it's time for bed). Also check out some flower pics I took in Summer 2012 in San Diego and have a great weekend!

So Overdue For An Outfit Post
Hi Everyone!
Happy middle-of-the-week! How has everyone been? It's been awhile since I've put up a new post and I apologize. Lately I just feel like I've been in a rut with putting together outfits. You know how writers get writer's block? I feel like that's what I'm going through except with outfits. Anyway, I wanted to share an outfit I put together awhile ago that's perfect for Spring. I was trying to find different ways to make a polka-dotted dress more versatile and decided to layer a bright pink skirt over. I added a lightweight jacket and a belt and was good to go. What do you all think? Happy Wednesday and I appreciate everyone for being patient with me :) New outfits posts will come, I have faith!

I've Got Nothing..
Hey all,
So sorry the posts have been lacking lately. For awhile it was so cool outside that I was still wearing Fall/Winter clothes, and while I tried to make the best of it, I got tired of putting together outfits for the cold weather. Now it's warm out and feels great, but I've barely bought anything new for Spring. I just went shopping at the Mall of America and went in to a ton of stores and found NOTHING that I liked enough to even try on. Nothing! So I'm going to have to try to get creative and put some new outfits together out of what I already have until something comes along that I want to purchase because right now my wardrobe is really lacking in the Spring/Summer department. :/ In the meantime check out one of my favorite Spring outfits ever! I love this argyle cardigan I bought from Old Navy years ago, and think it will be in my closet for as long as it still looks decent. What do you all think? Stay tuned...I'll try to post some new material soon!

Another Cold Weather Spring Outfit
Happy Friday everyone! The weather has been fabulous this past week but has cooled down a little today, so today I'll be wearing my white jeans to keep warm. I really can't complain though, it finally looks and feels like Spring. I paired my jeans with a bright top I bought from Ann Taylor Loft a few seasons ago and threw on a Navy Tory Burch cardigan on top. I added an orange polka dotted scarf in my hair and paired the whole ensemble with my Tory Burch tote. What do you all think? I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

Floral Scarf + Jeans
Happy Wednesday everyone. I hope the week is going well for everyone. I am happy to report the weather is finally feeling nice out which makes me really happy, but has also made me realize I really need to go shopping for Spring/Summer! I think I've bought 4 things for Spring so far. A black maxi dress, black gladiator sandals (both from Forever 21), a Mint colored necklace form Francesca's and this floral Tory Burch scarf at the Tory Burch outlet in Orlando. I love the floral print and the colors. My boyfriend was surprised I liked it so much because the colors aren't as bright as what he is used to seeing me wear, but I don't care. I pretty much love all colors, I just tend to gravitate towards the bright ones. I have yet to wear this scarf for Spring (I've worn it once but with a grey sweater, boots and a wool winter coat), but when I do, I think I'll wear it like this. What do you all think?

Red and Polka Dots
Hi all,
Happy Monday. Hope everyone who had to go back to work is having a good day! I am still off work and plan to fully enjoy the gorgeous weather outside. Today would be a perfect day for an outside outfit post picture. Unfortunately, my landlord is doing yard work in my yard, and I would feel really silly taking pictures of myself with my tripod and camera. So instead of posting a new outfit post, I'm sharing one from last year that I plan on wearing this evening when it gets cooler out while I run errands. I'm so happy that I can finally wear a light jacket in the evening instead of a winter coat!

It's Finally Feeling Like Spring!!
Hi everyone :) It is finally feeling like Spring where I live! Yesterday it got to 80 degrees :) Today is supposed to be cooler (high 50s) and tomorrow it might snow, but I will take any nice day I can get. The previous two days were also warm, but unfortunately I spent them sleeping! :( I had to put in some extra hours at work this week, so I had really been concentrating on sleep during the day when I got home.
Anyway, on to the outfit post. I really haven't bought a lot for Spring/Summer. I guess I just haven't felt like buying Spring-y clothing when it still felt like Winter out. I did however, buy this cute pink top and black gladiator sandals from Forever 21 back at the end of March. And since it was warm, of course I had to wear them :) Going to be in Minneapolis my next three weeks off in a row so I am hoping to catch up on shopping. Happy middle-of-the-week (and 1st of the month)
